Summary: Technical Officer/Clerk of Works
CCHA has an exciting new role in our Money Solutions Team. Initially a Fixed Term Contract, our Customer Accounts Officer will be responsible for the collection of former tenancy rent arrears, rechargeable repairs invoices, leasehold service chargers, commercial invoices (shop rents), rent relating to supported housing contracts and any other income streams.

CCHA owns and manages approximately 3000 homes in the heart of Cardiff.
CCHA was established in 1996 and is a Registered Society with charitable status. We formed when Adamsdown Housing Association and Moor Housing Association merged. Between them, Adamsdown and Moors have been providing homes in Cardiff for over 35 years. We are a non-profit organisation that is registered and supervised by the Welsh Assembly Government.
Job Role:
This is not a normal debt recovery role. Your values and the way you work every day must reflect the values of CCHA, understanding the needs of a broad range of customers including tenants, homeowners, support agencies and shopkeepers.
We are looking for someone who is a confident self-starter, capable of taking ownership for this area of the service, improving the service we provide to all customers and our systems and procedures where necessary. In the longer term, we would like the person taking on this role to be capable of becoming CCHA’s expert in all areas of arrears recovery. We also need someone who is target driven, as delivering high collection rates is key to the success of this role.
