We have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced individual to join the Compliance Team as an Electrical Compliance Officer.

About Us:

CCHA owns and manages approximately 3000 homes in the heart of Cardiff.

CCHA was established in 1996 and is a Registered Society with charitable status.  We formed when Adamsdown Housing Association and Moor Housing Association merged.  Between them, Adamsdown and Moors have been providing homes in Cardiff for over 35 years.  We are a non-profit organisation that is registered and supervised by the Welsh Assembly Government.

Job Role:

The primary duty of the role is to be the Responsible person in the area of electrical compliance at CCHA. You will contract manage the performance of third party contractors undertaking electrical works on behalf of CCHA, to ensure they carry out work that meets statutory and non-statutory regulations and approved codes of practice. You will also ensure that the work undertaking is completed in accordance with the organisation’s policies and procedures.

​The successful candidate will be expected to undertake electrical audits to ensure work completed on behalf of CCHA meets the required standards and that it provides value for money for our tenants.

You will also take on the Qualifying Supervisor role for CCHA, with an aim to supporting the future growth of our internal repair teams to deliver responsive and planned electrical works.

About You:

The successful candidate will need to utilise technical expertise and knowledge gained through electrical qualifications and experience, be self-motivated and confident in challenging the work of others in order to drive quality and improve service delivery for our tenants.
