The Housing Services Manager takes the lead for ensuring that our customers receive excellent levels of service from the organisation regarding all aspects of their tenancy – from application and allocation until a tenancy ends. This means creating an environment where the customer is at the centre of all that we do; that they feel listened to, empowered and able to hold us to account on all landlord related activities.

Cynon Taf Community Housing Group is in the heart of Rhondda Cynon Taf in glorious South Wales. We’re proud of our communities and our deep-rooted history in providing homes and support to the people who live in them.
We currently provide around 2000 homes for rent, including 4 housing schemes for older people, two women’s refuges, and several supported housing projects delivered in partnership with other agencies. Job Role:

The Housing Services Manager takes the lead for ensuring that our customers receive excellent levels of service from the organisation regarding all aspects of their tenancy – from application and allocation until a tenancy ends. This means creating an environment where the customer is at the centre of all that we do; that they feel listened to, empowered and able to hold us to account on all landlord related activities.

The Housing Services Manager will be responsible for leading and managing a team of highly motivated and skilled Housing Officers, who are responsible for managing the tenancies across the communities that we work in.

We are looking for someone who is self-motivated and able to work on own initiative with strong compassionate leadership skills, has excellent knowledge of Housing Management and repairs practices including Contract management, Neighbour Nuisance, Anti – Social Behaviour and Estate Management, Voids and Allocations and understands welfare reform, housing benefit, universal credit, and income recovery processes.

It would be beneficial for post holder to have CIH Professional Diploma or BA/BSc in Housing or equivalent relevant experience, an understanding and practical experience of Equality and Diversity, Agile Working, Culture Change, Change Management and Modern Working practices.
