Summary:

We have an exciting opportunity to join MHA as a  Heating Engineer to ensure that high quality heating installation, maintenance and servicing work is carried out on all properties either owned by MHA or on contracts for external clients.

Job Role:

  • To undertake heating engineering duties including servicing of boilers, maintenance and installations as directed by the line manager.
  • To undertake plumbing duties on various workstreams as instructed by line management
  • To undertake associated general duties as directed.
  • To record completed works and maintain records of work carried out including measurements and calculations.
  • To obtain correct supplies as directed after obtaining the appropriate requisition/order.
  • To liaise with tenants, the general public and other officers in a polite and courteous way.
  • To travel to the appropriate locations and be responsible for the maintenance, safety and security of the vehicle and equipment provided
  • You will be required to assist with out-of-hours emergency standby duties as part of our contractual obligations. This is organized on a rota basis
