Summary:

We are looking for a Board Member. Experience of serving on a Board and/or chairing a committee or Board would be an advantage. We are interested in receiving applications from people with a wide range of skills and expertise.

Job Role:

We have opportunities for three new Board members to join us and are looking for a Board Vice Chair, a new Chair of our Audit and Risk Committee and a Board member.

Experience of serving on a Board and/or chairing a committee or Board would be an advantage. We are interested in receiving applications from people with a wide range of skills and expertise which include:

  • Finance/accountancy and risk management
  • Housing regulation
  • Housing Policy
  • Development
  • EDI
  • Digital Solutions

The Board as part of its commitment to better represent our local communities throughout North Wales, wants to encourage and attract members from local Black and Minority Ethnic communities and/or members of disability or other under-represented groups to join the NWH Board. Board diversity, in the widest sense, is important because it creates more balanced decision making to ensure that we act with the interests of our customers at our heart.

Additional information:

Location: Conwy

Salary: £4,500 per annum

Length of service: Three years, capped at nine years

Hours: Those necessary to fulfil the role but as a guidance at least 2 days per month

Closing Date: 28th June 2024

Interview Date: First stage interviews will take place week commencing the 8th July 2024

Final interviews: 15th July 2024
