Job Role:

This is an exciting opportunity to join Team Caerphilly and provide support across the wider Caerphilly Homes Team.

We pay an attractive salary of £41,511 – £44,711 and offer access to training and development opportunities.

This is an exciting opportunity to support the Community Housing Operations Manager in the development and delivery of a new and innovative, high-quality and customer focused, Community Housing Service. You will be responsible for delivery of effective and responsive services to our tenants, including occupation contract management, and the provision of support and advice, to maximise tenancy sustainment throughout our mixed tenure communities.

The successful candidate will lead, motivate and develop a Community Housing Team, having regard to good practice, statutory requirements and in accordance with service and corporate objectives

For the role, we ask that you have:

  • A level 5 Housing qualification on the Credit and Qualifications Framework for Wales. For example, HND in Housing.
  • Extensive experience of working in frontline social housing management.
  • Knowledge and understanding of Human Resources and Health and Safety policies and procedures.
  • A full UK Category B (Cars) driving licence and the use of a motor vehicle insured for business purposes to travel throughout the borough to visit customers and communities and attend meetings.
