As the trade body for housing associations in Wales, CHC’s role is to advocate for and represent the interests of members with Government and other stakeholders – working to influence housing policy in Wales and creating opportunities for members to work together and learn from each other across communities.

Job Role Summary:

The Director of Business Services plays a key role in the team and the post offers huge scope for the right individual to utilise a range of professional skills and truly influence the running and development of an organisation that is at the forefront of campaigning for good housing to be a right for all who live in Wales. Reporting to the Chief Executive and a member of the Senior Management team, the postholder is responsible for managing finances and acting as company secretary – working closely with the board and Chief Executive to ensure that corporate governance is effective and adheres to high standards. The role also carries responsibility for managing contracts with outsourced IT support and HR providers.

We are looking for a qualified finance professional with a track record of senior leadership and business management ideally in a charitable/not for profit environment. On a personal level, we are looking for a team player who is enthusiastic about change and able to balance strategic thinking with an eye for detail and business operations. Most important is a values driven purpose, with a strong social ethos that aligns to CHC members and the communities they serve across Wales.

Salary: £80,000

Contract: Permanent
