Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic individual to assume the role of Chair of the Board at Tai Tarian. As Chair, you will play a pivotal role in leading the Board, providing strategic direction and ensuring effective governance to support our vision of ‘Making a Difference’.

Where possible, we would like a Chair who is able to give different insights informed by their experiences as a resident of our communities within the South Wales area.

The Role:

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide the highest level of leadership and direction to the Board and Chief Executive and ensure that the Board upholds the Non-Executive Director’s Code of Conduct by governing with integrity, honesty and transparency.
  • Facilitate the effective management of Board meetings, promoting a culture of openness with the ability to encourage debate and facilitate clarity of decision-making.
  • Ensure that Tai Tarian effectively fulfils its statutory, regulatory, finan-cial, legal and constitutional obligations.

Hours: Average 4 days per month
Salary: £12,000 per annum
