About us:

Barcud Shared Services has provided Internal Audit services to a range of social purpose organisations, primarily housing associations, since it was created in 2012. Starting with only 4 housing associations, it now has 17 clients across South Wales and has significant growth plans. As an SME, the organisation is seeking to change how Internal Audit is perceived by working in partnership with clients to improve their efficiency and effectiveness and also work with wider bodies like the Institute of Internal Auditors to help develop the Internal Audit role of the future, providing value and insight to all our clients.

Job role:

We are looking for someone who is inquisitive, a problem solver and who likes to support people and organisations to improve and overcome challenges. As part of the Risk Assurance Service you will work across a range of clients, reviewing processes and structures and, through the provision of insight, support and guidance, provide our clients with assurance over key areas of their operations along with insight on where improvements are possible. The role requires someone who can work independently as well as part of a team and who is always looking to add value in all they do.

Additional information:

Location: Hybrid – Home and at any of our client sites across Wales

Salary: £27,500 to £37,500 depending on experience

Contract: Permanent

Hours: Full time – we are currently trialling 4 day working weeks
